Links Not Working After Hotlink Protection Enabled

Version(s) Verified:

Drupal 6.x & Canis Hosting's Hotlink Protection found in cPanel.

Symptoms:

After enabling Hotlink Protection, the links on the home page of Drupal do not work.  When clicking on them, they loop back to the home page, and will not open their sub page.

Remedy:

Replace the .htaccess file with the one found in the Drupal install package.

To access your .htaccess file, you can either FTP in and enable hidden files, or go to the File Manager in cPanel with hidden files enabled.  Simply remove the .htaccess file, and place it with the new one from the install package.

More Help:

If you are unable to correct the issue, you can contact Canis Hosting at support@canishosting.com or by submitting a ticket from the support area.  Simply supply your domain name, and the version of Drupal that you are running, and our support staff will fix the problem for you.
